One more reminder for the April ACT.

The regular registration deadline for the April administration is today! If you have forgotten to sign up, you still have an opportunity for late registration. **Click on the title to this post to go to the ACT website and register.
Begin preparing for your ACT by reading, reading, reading. Students who read a lot, and read a variety of materials, tend to perform better on their ACT. And, the word for today is vehemently. Do you know what that means? Can you actually use it in a good sentence? What are some synonyms and antonyms of "vehemently?" The ACT doesn't directly test vocabulary, but it does test vocabulary through usage and context. It always helps to improve your vocabulary.

Seniors Get Ready!

The last two ACT administrations of this school year will be in April and June. I am working on offering mini-intensive Institutes before each of these tests. The course will include approximately nine hours of instruction, plus all of the written review materials. If you would be interested in either of these, please leave a comment on this post with your e-mail address and I will send you more specific information. The cost for each mini-intensive Institute will be $150. I must have at least 5 students for each class to make.
